Fanstand ’18 Football Watch: DB Hunter Attending Lake Travis

Henry, a former Cedar Park standout, will spend his senior year at Lake Travis.

While most football fans are in hibernation, we’re constantly surveying the ATX landscape for the upcoming season.  We have confirmed former #CedarPark safety Hunter Henry (’19) is currently enrolled in classes at Lake Travis High School.  Henry was recently awarded with an offer from Texas State to play at the next level.

In 8 games as a junior for the Timberwolves, Henry had 1 INT, 52 tackles, 9 PBUs (missed 4 games due to injury).  He also helped lead Cedar Park to a State 7×7 Championship bracket berth in College Station over Summer ’17.

When you imagine a Cavaliers defensive backfield with the speed of Copeland Gothard/Kyle Eaves and add the hard-nosed play of Henry, look for Lake Travis to be deadly on the defensive side of the ball.  Check out Hunter’s latest highlight video below…
