We’ve narrowed an epic district run down to the final game(s), and that begins this evening. Senior/Parent Night emotions, plus playoff seeding and beef squashing. It will be an interesting group of games under Friday Night Lights.
Westwood (5-5) @ Pflugerville (7-3)
Hendrickson (7-3) @ Round Rock (6-4)
McNeil (5-6) @ Stony Point (2-9)
STORY LINE: Most fans REALLY want to see the Panthers and Hawks battle for the 13-6A title next Tuesday. For that to happen, won’t be easy. Pflugerville hosts a Warrior team starved for a district dub. Hendrickson visits a scrappy Dragons team that had won 5 games in a row before last week’s loss to Westwood.
*and SENIOR NIGHT!!
The Panthers host Westwood tonight in 13-6A action!

Manor (4-5) @ Anderson (5-3)
San Marcos (4-4) @ Akins (3-6)
Del Valle (7-2) @ Bowie (3-6)
STORY LINE: San Marcos’ recent 4 game tumble has made this an interesting race down the stretch. Manor needs a road win over Anderson, plus an Akins victory over the Rattlers.

Westlake (10-0) @ Leander (4-6)
Lake Travis (8-2) @ Vista Ridge (3-7)
Hays (3-8) @ Vandegrift (6-4)
STORY LINE: The Chaps can clinch an outright 25-6A title with a road win over the Lions. The Rebels slim playoff hopes hinge on rather they can upset Vandy.

Elgin (7-7) @ Rouse (13-1)
Connally (11-2) @ Cedar Creek (1-13)
Hutto (9-5) @ Cedar Park (11-4)
STORY LINE: Rouse locked in their share of the 19-5A crown, dominating a talented Hutto team last Tuesday. With all four postseason spots locked up, this is the one district that can fully focus on honoring their seniors (and their families) tonight.
It’s Senior Night tonight at the Rouse Gymnasium! Come out and support these awesome seniors 630pm! @blakeclifford3 @carter_mcmahan @HesserPayden @TrevorBerry15 Quinlan Daily @escobar_ben Dominic Powell @reck_chase #1roUSe #2018 pic.twitter.com/FRO3qKYsLt

Lanier (9-1) @ Reagan (8-3)
Austin High (4-6) @ Crockett (2-8)
LBJ (8-2) @ McCallum (4-6)
STORY LINE: The final playoff spot is down to McCallum and Austin High. The Knights probably face the toughest challenge, welcoming the Jaguars to their place. Austin High has a road match up versus Crockett, but that win is not guaranteed. Its Senior Night for the Cougars, and the Maroons are coming off a loss to previously district-winless Travis High. The Raiders can’t win district, but they sure can get a bragging rights win tonight if they can knock off a uber-talented Vikings team at home.
